1. About This Service

Surrey HVAC Specialists ("we", "us", "our") operates a lead matching service that connects homeowners and property managers in Surrey and the Lower Mainland with independent, licensed HVAC contractors. We do not employ HVAC technicians, hold HVAC contractor licences, or perform heating, cooling, or gas work of any kind.

By submitting a quote request through this website — whether via the quote form, contact form, or by telephone — you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. How the Lead Matching Process Works

When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, contact details, service address, and description of the job required. This information is passed to one or more HVAC contractors operating in your area who have agreed to our contractor terms.

Contractors who receive your information are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, or partners of Surrey HVAC Specialists. Each contractor is solely responsible for their own pricing, availability, licensing, insurance, and the quality of work they perform.

You may be contacted by more than one contractor. You are under no obligation to proceed with any contractor who contacts you.

3. Independent Contractor Relationship

All HVAC services are provided by independent third-party contractors. Surrey HVAC Specialists:

• Does not employ, supervise, direct, or control any contractor referred through this service
• Does not hold a BC gas contractor licence, HVAC installation licence, or any trades licence
• Is not a party to any service agreement, quote, or contract between you and a contractor
• Does not guarantee that any contractor will respond to your request, provide a quote, or complete any work
• Does not warrant the quality, safety, timeliness, or pricing of any contractor's work

You are encouraged to independently verify any contractor's licensing status via the Technical Safety BC public registry before engaging them.

4. No Warranties

This website and the lead matching service it provides are offered on an "as is" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding:

• The licensing, insurance, qualifications, or workmanship of any referred contractor
• Whether a contractor will respond to your request or provide a quote
• The accuracy of any pricing information published on this website (indicative only)
• The availability of any contractor for your specific job or timeline

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Surrey HVAC Specialists, its operators, directors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• Any act, omission, negligence, or misconduct of a contractor referred through this service
• Damage to property, personal injury, or financial loss caused by a contractor
• A contractor's failure to hold required licences, insurance, or WorkSafeBC coverage
• Breach of contract, misrepresentation, or poor workmanship by a contractor
• Your reliance on any pricing estimates or response time information on this website

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of this website is limited to zero dollars, as we provide this matching service at no charge to you.

6. Your Consent

By submitting your information through any form on this website, you expressly consent to:

• Surrey HVAC Specialists collecting and storing your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy
• Your contact information being shared with HVAC contractors for the purpose of providing you with quotes
• Contractors contacting you by phone, email, or text message regarding your service request

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing. Withdrawal of consent will prevent future referrals but cannot reverse referrals already made.

7. Disputes with Contractors

Any dispute regarding pricing, quality of work, guarantees, or contractor conduct must be resolved directly with the contractor who performed the work. Surrey HVAC Specialists is not a party to such disputes and will not mediate or arbitrate them.

If you believe a contractor has violated Technical Safety BC regulations, you may report this directly to TSBC at 1-866-566-7233 or at technicalsafetybc.ca.

If you believe a contractor has engaged in a deceptive or unconscionable act, you may contact Consumer Protection BC at 1-888-564-9963.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
