Certified heating and cooling contractors serving Ladner, Tsawwassen, and North Delta. Furnace repair, heat pump installation, AC, and 24/7 emergency response.
Delta's three communities — Ladner, Tsawwassen, and North Delta — each have distinct housing characteristics. Ladner's heritage homes often have older hydronic heating or aging gas furnaces. Tsawwassen's predominantly newer single-family homes are ideal for heat pump upgrades. North Delta's mix of 1970s–1990s construction frequently has single-stage gas furnaces approaching end-of-life.
Delta's coastal location also means elevated humidity, which can affect indoor air quality and accelerate duct corrosion — making duct cleaning and maintenance more important here than in inland communities.
Tsawwassen and Ladner's proximity to the coast and river delta means homes experience higher ambient humidity than Surrey or Langley. This can contribute to mold growth in ductwork if filters are not changed regularly and if annual maintenance is skipped. We recommend a duct inspection every 3–4 years for Delta homes — especially any home built before 2000.
Heat pumps perform particularly well in Delta's mild climate. Unlike colder interior BC cities where heat pumps struggle below -15C, the Lower Mainland's moderate winters mean heat pumps operate efficiently year-round — significantly reducing natural gas or electric resistance heating costs.
Delta homeowners: The CleanBC Better Homes program applies throughout Delta. Qualifying heat pump installations are eligible for up to $6,000 in combined rebates from BC Hydro and the Province. FortisBC gas customers switching to a heat pump may receive an additional $1,000 incentive. We're registered with both programs.
